It was previously announced that The Simpsons was teaming up with Epic Games' battle royale, but this isn't the sole place where enthusiasts can experience the universe of Springfield. The beloved show is coming over to the popular soccer-driving hybrid, introducing an in-game car skin that will also be compatible in the Fortnite universe. However, if gamers will truly desire to equip it is a different matter, as fans have their hearts set on just one Simpsons vehicle everyone is itching to get behind the wheel of, and this isn't it.
While many players would undoubtedly love to compete behind the wheel of Homer's custom creation—the notoriously impractical car Homer built himself in the 1991 installment "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"—that's not what's being offered. Not even receiving the massive SUV, the heavy-duty truck featured in season 10. Instead, fans are getting the family's standard beat-up sedan, which they've been driving since 1989. Even though this specific vehicle has accumulated plenty of miles, it remains an iconic symbol of the show. And for players who analyze the game's vehicle dimensions, the trusty sedan uses the same hitbox as the Dominus body type.

And it's not the only cosmetic from the series coming to Rocket League. The event will additionally feature a series of challenges to earn additional rewards, all of which are inspired by the show. As detailed in a official announcement, the missions will task participants to "get as many centers and clears as there are the show's years on air, gather boost canisters as if your GPS is set to the Simpson house, and drive a distance sufficient for picking up the ideal pastries!"

If the key art is a reliable guide, it appears fans will also get wheels with a television showing The Simpsons' opening credits, alien antenna toppers, a frosted doughnut trail, and rocket boosts themed to burning tires and Krusty's famous restaurant.
The Rocket League collaboration coincides with the extensive Simpsons takeover of Fortnite's island, which brings a completely new map of the fictional town, in addition to a 30-day seasonal progression system. This special Rocket League and Simpsons event launches on November 1st and concludes on November 17th.
